Want to Collaborate with UGers? Post Your Project Advert Here!

This is a Guns for Hire redux thread... the original Guns for Hire thread is located here if you want to browse through for a UGer to collaborate with.

Essentially this thread is to do the same thing, but for you lot to post a song idea you have, and what you need from a collaborative recording partner. In this way people can check out what you're up to, and if they are into a similar style, then they can drop you a PM to help you out.

Here's an example of the kind of thing to post here:

Quote:
Looking for a vocalist for original blues song:
- Need someone to lay down a vocal track, with pre-written lyrics
- Here's my music page for you to check out the kind of music I make: http://mymusic.musichost.com
- Send me a PM with some examples of your music and we'll sort out the music/add me to my MSN/Yahoo/AOL and we can talk more

Thanks to ghettohippygrrl for the reduxing idea.

Awesome, Lazy. I hope people find this useful. I think it could work well if people are open to it and keep checking back!

I have nothing to contribute to other people (because I suck), but I'm sure I'll be requesting help at a later date.

I'd kill to get some flute, violin and piano on some stuff. I'm just not sure what at the moment. If you play these instruments and can get decent recording done PM me and Ill let you know when I need a part.

It'll go on a CD Im recording and you'll get credit in the cd insert, meaning THREE WHOLE PEOPLE will hear you! Cause nobody likes me.

I'll kill for anyone able to do gabba/grind vocals.

I'm also up for helping anyone, seriously. I'll play almost any style, check my sig for links to my music to get an idea of my tastes and abilities.

Hmmmm okay I just had an idea:

How about someone to do a sorta versus guitar solo thingy with me?
We get a backing track and record a guitar battle over it, for example one person plays a few bars then lets the other person play a few and so on. I thought that would be pretty cool. It has to be a rock/blues soloing battle though as I cannot shred lol. PM me if you're interested!

is anyone on here good with making drum beats that sound like a realistic kit? I want just some basic rock/alternative beats to play along with but am having trouble finding some to download. I tried fruity loops but i just suck at making them

I would to like to inquire if anyone is interested in helping me set this piece of writing to music.

http://www.ultimate-guitar.com/foru...731#post4380731

I would be very appreciative of anyone who is willing to contribute some what technical yet subtle instrumentation to the piece.

I'm only asking for help because I'm a typical acoustic singer/ songwriter and I doubt anyone could keep this together under that pretence.

Pm me if you have any ideas.

Later isn't possible for me, since I'm busy then with getting accepted at the conservatorium of Amsterdam. ( Don't want to push you or something... )

That would seriously rock. My teacher ( wim den herder, weet niet of je hem kent, ex-sena winaar. ) studies at Amsterdam as well, but only the jazz section, so he can't really tell what I have to know so he just learns me all the jazz theory as well, which is good, but a lot. So you don't study on a conservatorium ?
