Fantastic band, though I think I like Ephel Duath more.

They're ok... They get hyped up a bit more than they deserve in my opinion.

NO MATT! Just no. They damn well deserve any respect and/or praise that they receive.
The robot vocals are often a problem for me though...

Awesome band. Read that they are going on a reunion tour in 07. Maybe even a new record?

I wasn't saying you should change your point of view because I said so, I just say that they earn all the respect that they get.

Although, I like your idea too

Did i say track, i meant trackS lol. I got 3 extra tracks "Cosmos", "The Circle's Gone" and "Endless Endeavour" as well as 3 remixes.

I checked earlier, they havnt put any info up about tour dates yet from what ive seen. I hope they come to Australia, but i highly highly doubt it.

Do you mean some tracks were remixed or the whole album was remixed as in remastered?
If you mean the first one, which tracks got remixed?

^ 3 tracks got remixed (as well as the whole album being remastered) and those 3 tracks would be Veil of Maya, I'm but a wave to..... and How could i.

Rather than reminiscing about how great they were, why don't we talk about how much they suck?

Strangely everytime Cynic is mentioned Atheist comes up.

Probably becase Tony Choy played on the Cynic demos and Darren McFarland (Atheist's touring bassist) auditioned for Cynic.

I do agree with TI_Bryan when he said Atheist had more cohereance. I think Atheist had catchier songs as well. I often find myself growling along to Atheist . (Mind you I find Veil of Maya and How Could I? catchy as ****)

When I got Focus I also bought Unquestionable Presence with it and I expected to like Focus more than UP but I found the opposite true. Although Focus is probably in my top 10 albums, UP is higher up.
