Cool, looked like a pretty decent crowd. Can't wait for the new DVD later this year.

I agree, apart from Iced Earth.

Ok, I have Walls of Jericho and the first 2 Keeper albums...should I get anything else? I'd have to say WoJ is my fav, followed by Keepr 1 then Keepr 2, if that helps.

well, the only albums I have are the Keeper of the Seven Keys Part I and II and Treasure Chest Part I and II, but they're awesome. So awesome in fact that even my parents like it!

Some nice advice from flamencogod, also check out the new album if you can. Annoying they had to put the album on two discs(6 songs & 7 songs) but supposedly because some older cd players would have difficulty playing the whole thing.

Well they have some european festival dates and then a tour of Ukraine/Russia and finally a trip to the US. I know they are playing in New York at BB Kings, more dates are to be announced for the US. Hopefully they get a good crowd at the shows.

Michael Kiske all the way.
Helloween lost the plot after seven keys part 2 when Kai left.

they didn't completely lose it, but they did lose it a bit.

Yeah . What exactly did they lose? Well apart from band members that were fired/departed or passed away(Ingo RIP). Even in these cases the replacements have never disappointed. Their albums have always been solid with improvement each time. Not really fair to judge if you've only purchased a hand full of albums or less as the band have gone through so many different styles.

Yeah, i would say that Kai was their best, followed by Andy Deris, then Kiske.

if i could make a supergroup, i would definetly put helloween's ex drummer... i heard he died. i don't know if it's true. i don't even know the line-up, since all the cds i have of theirs are burned and i never really cared much until now. anyone care to educate me?

I really like Kai but Kiske has a better voice (well when you compare the Helloween albums.) However Kiske can't do that awesome Kai scream...so classic. I've only heard a couple Deris songs but he's got good range it seems.

yeah, I believe Andi's range is ever bigger than Kiske's range. I'm glad kiske and derris don't do that Kai-screaming
