Not at all. You are not a cockatoo but in fact a parrot. You seem to have been second in something over and some other website, and you in your parrot-like nature have mimicked me, the true Will.

Having unwillingly listened to a bit of dubstep over the past few days (including at a wedding, that was weird), I have to give Muse credit for taking something that sounds like complete migraine-inducing horseshit and making it sound moderately better.

I like Unsustainable better than a lot of the crappy brostep around, but my friend and his stoner friends used to listen to 'proper', more musical dubstep before the hype started and that was generally a lot better and more classy than Muse's attempt.

Not sure what happened to that part of the genre.

This. What Muse tried to emulate is was far more brostep than dubstep. ACTUAL dubstep is far, far better. More subtle and developed sounds

I may be posting a lot less often. I'm finally blocking UG for most parts of the day so I'll waste less time.

Ive had the second law for a while now.

I'd say the best tracks are,

Animals
Survival
whatever track 3 is called.

Not the best album for sure.

Looked at the above posts and thought I'd walked into the wrong thread, lol.

^ Anyway, that's great, enjoy. Incidentally, I happen to also be going skiing soon.

actual dubstep producers have the distinct advantage of not being limited to actual musical instruments though.

^ When has limitation to actual instrumentation stopped Muse? They clearly did the "brostep" variety because that's what they wanted to.

i doubt they even know the difference remember what matt was saying about it? he said they all went to a skrillex concert and then thought it'd be cool if they could recreate those sounds with instruments rather than synths and computers.

I'd appreciate Dizzee Rascal if it was for the post-gig party. You know, when you're still on that high from seeing a good gig and you want to keep the party going with an overload of drinks and obnoxious dancing.

I've just gone Muse mad, listening to songs and playing them. There great if only I'd come across them sooner.

I do believe that Muse is a good band, but i am a bass player, i am 14, and i dont believe their bass riffs give me enough of a challenge, i love listening to them, but they just arent enough :P
