As you all may noticed the "stolen" stuff from the band was in the early days of the band and I believe that they needed something to kickstart themselves which they did because zeppelin exploded in 68-69 just when the band started.

My Government teacher saw Led Zeppelin live in '71, lucky bastard.
BTW, "Hey Hey What Can I Do," great song or greatest song?

^ lol whatever man.
Does anyone else have the Yardbirds "Little Games" cd with Jimmy Page. After reading horrible reviews I decided to get it anyways. I actually like it a lot. It's not as good as Roger the Engineer but its still pretty good.

You do realize that style of music you just described is called hard rock and was pioneered by Zeppelin, right? Or was it just a bad joke?
Oh, FYI. its Zeppelin not Zepplin.

About Jimmy stealing stuff, I really believe that EVERYONE in music EVER have stolen something from someone, at least once! The reason that Jimmy Page stealing riffs and such is being so blown up, is that he is concidered a genius, so it makes it much more "fun" to blame him for those things...
But, I understand that most of you are sick of hearing that, so I'll shut up! ![]() Btw. just a little question... Which Zep album is being called their "selftitled"? Is it I or IV? As I've understood it, none of them really have a name... |

^Led Zeppelin I till III are all selftitled (ok... with a roman number after it) and IV doesn't really have a title so most people call it Led Zeppelin IV

Led Zeppelin I is only called that after Led Zeppelin II and III were named in numbers ,if you get me, so is self titled. Led Zeppelin "IV" is also known as "Untiled", "Zoso" and "4 Symbols" too as they never gave it an official name when it was released.

I discovered III about a year ago and could not believe what i was missing- Gallow's Pole, BronYrAur Stomp (whatever) and actually Hats of To Roy Harper is good, no matter how weird. II and IV are my favorites though, and I've been listenin to them since the age of about 6 or 7. I thank my dad for that.
