Hi all, I was wondering if anyone knew of any romantic sounding chord progressions, or just anything romantic sounding at all. I'm trying to "woo" a girl and I am going to send her a song so I could really use some help. I've been working on this for about a week so its getting a bit frustrating, please help. Thanks in advance.

P.S. That prog is remarkably similar to something I came up with earlier, forgot, and reallyliked. It reminded me of the actual thing I wrote earlier:

G -> Cadd9 -> A* -> Dsus4 -> D

* = Not a strict A chord but based around it:
e - 3
B - 3
G - 2
D - 2
A - -
E - -

For a starting point try fingerpicking D, then fingerpick D but play the high E string open (I forgot what the name of that and the next chord os) and then D with the high E on the third fret. Wow thats damn confusing....

ok im really late on replying to this but ima just post some helpful tips for anyone looking at this. first off, pretty much any chord progression can sound romantic as long as you put the right rhythm or feel into it. when i first started guitar my girlfriend wanted me to play for her, but all i knew how to play were the chords: C G Am F. so i put a slow rhythm to that progression to make it sound romantic. my strumming was down down up down up down up down up down down. hope that helped!
