Recently I've gotten into them and their awesome! Geddy Lee is like the God of bass playing. And Alex Leifstien (however u spell his last name) is an awsome guitar player plus the awsome drums by Neil Piert...the best band in rock history.

LOL *Lifeson

They are up there with Cream regarding most talented trios.

Yep. Cream and Rush are the only amazing trios that come to mind Actually thats a hard choice. Clapton vs. Lifeson, Bruce vs. Lee, and Baker vs. Peart. Thay're all so good, what do all y'all think? Cream or Rush?

Rush is basically pure, concentrated awesome.
"Working Man" is one of the best songs ever, with other Rush songs like "Tom Sawyer" and "Closer To The Heart" right behind.

Also, I like Geddy Lee's guest appearance on the McKenzie Brothers' album, singing the chorus to "Take Off"...genious.

Rush > Cream. No contest.

People don't put much insight to their later works. Vapor Trails is a brilliant album.

They have so many awesome long epic songs 2112, Xanadu, and Hemispheres is one that is very underated and doesn't get the attention it deserves. Musically it definately rivals 2112.

Rush is awesome! Not only is the instrumentals beyond talented, but the lyrics are something to speak off. Total revolutionary.

I've said this many a time in this forum, but if you're just getting into Rush, buy 'A Farewell To Kings' and 'Hemispheres' first and together. Brain Damage'll back me up on this one.

Rush is so great to listen to while playing Dungeons & Dragons. It really sets the mood.

I've been wanting to buy that album, but never brought myself to doing so. Next time I'm in Best Buy I think I'll pick it up.

Rush is easily my favorite group, with Yes coming in a close second. I own every album prior to 1980, as well as Moving Pictures, Exit Stage Left, Counterparts, and Roll the Bones. My favorite stuff is their epics. 2112 and Fountain of Lamneth changed my life.

There epics are like extremely intense and dramatic. Although i'd prefer Cream over Rush, I think Rush is much more talented in their musical abilities. Come on, Neil Peart is insane. Thag guy could like outdrum college sections of drummers.
