Dont get me wrong people- i love my metalcore but it just seems as if BTBAM could do a lot better than the noise found on Alaska. The lead singer needs to screw up his vocal chords like M. Shadows of A7X and make some good music. They have the potential to be an amazing band, they just need to stick to melodic guitars like in the intro to Alaska and the same drums, but the singer must find a new style. Alaska was my first and last album of BTBAM, at least until their vocals get more talented. If only they new how famous they would be if they didnt overdub like 10 screaming vocals.... i dont think they know it but noone can hear any instruments non the less lyrics in any of their songs... do you guys agree?

NO. i would never want M. Shadows in any band, much less BTBAM. BTBAMs clean vox are about 10 times better then that fag from A7X. the only point that i would agree with you is that saying they should get more melodic. and use more of their talent in that point rather then the interesting beats, because those get a bit boring at times. i think they need to get a bit more progressive and melodic in the way that Opeth did with their new cd. but still keep their intensity. and keep their stlye in their melodic sections.

No....uh, no.......and NO!!! There isn't really anything wrong with this band as is. Shadows fronting this band would probably be the worst thing EVER! His nasal voice is annoying as hell.

the song Mordecai is one of my favorite songs of all time, and I love Alaska, sure they could do better, and I think they have much more talent than they brought out on Alaska, but Its still amazing.

I agree somewhat wiht the threadstarter I dont think he means he wants M. Shadows to take over as singer he means he'd like more clean vocals.

I also agree that sometimes its all a little too busy and its ahrd to distinguish it all like in the beginning of alaska when the vocals come in it soudns like **** but its chill cuz it smooths out later

If NoFx had all hardcore vocals, much more distortion and bass, heavy, thick and fast hardcore riffs, then I'd probably love 'em.

i love BTBAM to death, but i was kinda dissapointed with alaska. I mean it was good, dont get me wrong, but I enjoy listening to the selftitled cd better. It seems like the songs flow better. but alaska was technically better.

yeah BTBAM could get a little more melodic but what i really like is the random jazz parts they throw into songs Like "Mordecai" "Ad A Dglgmut" and "Selkies" that was some cool stuff.
