Joe Satriani is my biggest influence because i know more of his stuff than any other guitar players.

Apart from him, Slash and Page are probably the guitarists i examine and learn from the most.

They're not THAT technically impressive. No objection to your influences. You can be influenced by Kurt Cobain for all I care, but that doesn't change the fact that they would get their souls pwned by A LOT of guitarists on chops.

lol kirks pentatonic wankery is far from beautiful. ill admit he has some good ones though, such as on The Struggle Within.



COB is piss easy on guitar! compared to metal bands such as Nile and Necrophagist who are also a bit neoclassically influenced methinks

Hahaha, geeze that last line is SO sig-worthy.

But mine are already awesome, so someone else can have it.

But geeze dude you are a ******. CoB is definently NOT the most technical music around, its nowhere near. And since when was classical music the "most technical music around."

Hammet doesn't write "beautiful" solos. End of story.

Wow hang on guys, some classical is waay more technical than pretty much all shred is (referring to Chopin and Paganini n stuff)

And most definatly all three, Wylde, Hammett and Laiho got their own style, which I respect, they all 3 have a lot of energy in their music and they can all play.

You can't deny that they can play
