Ultra Dolphins

I saw this band last summer in my home town, and I bought "Why are You Laugh" at a distro a couple weeks ago, its probably some of the best Spazcore I've heard.

Any opinions?

post a link or something

i'm sure very few people have heard them

and they sound lame purely because of being 'spazcore'

If spazzcore we're a genre, Ultra Dolphins would not be included in it.

Perhaps you have listened to too much Soulfly.

I'm sorry that I'm not good with genre classifying.

And I'm sorry my musical choice spans beyond the walls of hardcore.

Its not a matter of being good with genre naming, its a matter of common sense. Do you think Ultra Dolphins represent spaztic audio? I don't think so, so why would you call them spazzcore.

Looking at the bands you listen to:
Extol, Dream Theater, Darkest Hour, Sepultura, Soulfly, Mastodon, Lamb of God, System of a Down, Killswitch Engage.

Looks like you're really diversified in the music you listen to. Seeing as I'm majoring in jazz composition, im required only listen to the hardest of the hardcore music there is.

On topic:
This band is boring, their stuff isn't catchy or interesting to listen to.

Well they were at a local festival called MacRock and they were put on the "Spaz" stage. So my assumption that there was a genre known as spaz, and they belonged to it is soley based off of that.

As for my diverse taste in music. When I was thinking of bands to put on that list, those were the first names that came to mind. I didn't put down names like Dizzy Gillespie or the Gordin Goodwin Big Phat Band because this is a simple guitar forum, and I doubt many people on here would know who they were.
