Jimmy Eat World Thread: 2

The last thread was only two pages long and was old, so I'm hoping to get a better discussion into this one.

I found out about these guys about 3 years ago, but didnt get into them until earlier this year. Their Bleed American album was just brilliance and I even got the tab book for it, and I'm hoping to get another one of their albums this weekend.

you cant just do that! :p

it kinda wastes space and that bro,

i dont want to sound rude, but i think biles or jeff will close this

but yeah, okay...i do love jimmy eat world.

I think you need to pick up Clarity as well as Static Prevails if you're really into Jimmy Eat World and you loved Bleed American.

Then, I'd suggest buying Futures.

Some people are divided, some love Futures...but find their earlier work a bit hit or miss, or vice versa...or so my friends think anyway.

Amazon, HMV and loads of places sell their albums so just check a few out.

you cant go wrong with my recommendations though.

Yeah, you're not allowed to make an official or a specified thread when you're not a mod, but maybe you'll be lucky and the mods won't close it...

JEW is a great band, though I've only heard a few songs.. Some of their stuff is Emo, but I prefer to call them pop-punk.. Anyways, I hate genre discussions..

It's Travis Barker's (the drummer of The Aquabats, blink-182, Boxcar Racers, Transplants, Plus 44 and 65677473754837687589789729 other bands) favourite band.. That's kinda impressive I think..

My take on futures was that it was amazing, but much more mellow than Bleed American. I don't have full Clarity, but i do like lucky denver mint

Jimmy Eat World has been my favorite band for years. My favorite album might be Static Prevails or Clarity. Their other work is brilliant though. Main reason they're my favorite. The lyrics are something that cannot be imitated.

I love Bleed American and most of futures. Bleed American itself is probably my fave song, but Sweetness, Middle, and all of those are equality as good.

I can't quite remember what that first single from Futures was, I think it had something to do with fighting though. It was also ace as hell.

Also, let's everyone end their post with their own comical JEW joke that could actually work in the band sense.

Such as, "In my country, there are 3 problems; crime, poverty, and JEW"
