Man, I finally got around to watching it, and that is the first time I've ever found Anneke's voice annoying. I don't know if it was from the capture or the stream itself, but the sound is terrible.

I actually find Devin's voice more annoying than anything else on the Retinal Circus. Whenever he's doing anything that doesn't require the full range of his voice, he just cracks and wavers the entire time. He really does show his weakness on his quieter notes. I almost wanna be like "Dude, go reform SYL", simply so he never has to do clean vocals again, but then he DOES do the powerful moments and he really shines.... Eh.
Anyway, enjoying the hell out of this concert. Jed coming out for Detox and Love? was AWESOMEEEE.

Most of True North, bits of Lucky Animals, anything where he kinda uses just his "midrange" voice, whether it be singing or screaming. I've noticed it both times I've seen him live, as well.
Lord knows, I love Devin with all of my heart, but yeah. Just as an observation, he doesn't seem to be as strong as he used to in what I would call his "standard range" now.

I didn't pick up on it when I was there, but the sound was so awful that I could barely make out half the things for the first half. I haven't watched the stream version all the way through, but every time there's a crowd shot I can see my head sticking out over everyone elses in the front row.

I've noticed something.
The drunker I get, the more I enjoy Epicloud. Yesterday I was totally grooving to Lucky Animals, and I'm still a little hungover, and now actually find myself enjoying the song for the first time. Like, REALLY enjoying it. This song is amazing. WTF, booze.

I'd still tap it.
Also, Grace really would work so much better if it wasn't 6 minutes or so of the exact same 2 riffs. The first minute/2 are amazing, and then... just... bleh.
