City is the best metal album ever.
But moving on, I haven't heard much DTB except for a few tracks I downloaded from the Hevy Devy site and the Vampira edit that was on a Terrorizer sampler once. But they sound ****in' awesome, as I should really expect from the great man himself.

Bah. That was his best guitar tone, and my favorite use of synths he did. He's gotten better with ambience, but I still think that was a right proper quality album.

Biomech is Great... Hell anything Dev is great... but I think I'm just taking preference to Accelerated Evolution. I love 'Suicide'. Great Solo.

Took me a while to get into Devin Townsend. Found his stuff quite annoying and couldnt get over the fact that there were come really cool bits in his songs and then all of a sudden, something really bizzare would kick in. A little twisted. After several attempts to try and get his stuff, something clicked and I cant get enough of it all ! Not really heard much SYL but I think I'm gonna have to invest in some.

From the few I've heard, Accelerated Evolution, but you can't go wrong with any of his albums. |

Personally, I think i'm most inclined to Accelerated Evolution. But you can't go wrong with anything the Dev releases.
