So I went into the Classic Rock forum and did not see a thread like this one. So I did a search, swear to god I must have looked through ten pages of search results, but no Hendrix thread. So here we are, just chat away.

Actually, there is one a little bit further down the page that discusses his lyrics. You can just go and talk about anything Hendrix you want in that thread.

^ I dunno, that's a specific topic about Hendrix's lyrics, this is about his band. If we were to just talk about hendrix in the other thread, that title should be changed. Otherwise this thread seems fine to me.

There IS a hendrix thread in the blues forum, but that hasn't been used since February.

Mitch Mitchell is a spectacular drummer. He really was the only guy Jimi could play off of in the Experience. Redding didn't really offer Jimi much to jam with.

Whats with all the Noel Redding recently? I think he is a great bassist. - anyone who backs up Hendrix had to be good.
