Wow. What?

Bullets is the best of the first two albums by some distance. IBYMB.. is one of my favourite records ever.

I can't wait for The Black Parade. The live shows and Welcome To the Black parade have got my very excited about this As much as i do like Three Cheers, i'm so glad the first single doesn't sound like that. While there are a few songs i can still listen to on TCFSR it just didn't have the longlasting appeal for me Bullets still has. I'm really expecting to break away from the label people have applied to them with this album.

I had to watch the video like 10 times to FULLY understand it. The first time I watched it, I was confused and like "what the hell?" but when you've watched it enough, you start going "oh...I get it. That's cool!". For all of you who are confused, this is basically (from what I know) is the meaning of the video:

The main character of this whole rock opera is named the patient. He is dying of some kind of cancer at a very young age and is starting to see things he is also remembering his childhood. He remembers his dad taking him to see a marching band. Anyway, in the music video, he is obviously real sick and is crazy, telling the nurses his story while they wait by his side. He is remembering this childhood event and he kind of like goes back and just remembers that day. In the video, it's like he's re-entering his fantasy only this time, everyone is dead and he is looking for his father who I guess is dead as well. The lead singer of the band believes that when you die, you go back to your greatest memory and goes on from there. If you look closely, during the end, there is this 2 second scene where there all these dead people with a sign that says "Died of hunger from a nation of plenty" or something like that. This can go into so many different ways but I think the band is trying to point out that although this is the richest country in the world, we still have lots of problems internationally (especially now...) That's what I think it means. It can be a lot of things. At the end of the video, the dude walks away and looks for his dad. To be continued until next video or the album release...

They were on 7th avenue drop on fuse (where a band performs songs from an upcoming cd) and I don't even know if I liked some of the songs because it was all a mess. I changed the channel

"The Black Parade" shouldnt that have been a name kept aside for a parade of black people, and i mean the colour of their skin, not their hair and clothes?

The intro to WTTBP sounds very very familiar, it sounds like something i've heard before... I don't know, the whole concept album thing is very strange but hopefully it will be better than 3 cheers.

They performed a live version of "Famous Last Words" from their new album, "The Black Parade." Its really good a worth a listen to, the solo in the song is pretty cool and doesn't sound like their other songs, fans of their first album will be happy with the song, as it sounds sort of like their old stuff. Anyways, the song is posted up on youtube and such.

I think their new song has too much going on all at once and the sudden change in music doesn't really work well. I have never been a fan of their work but I think this is not really a good change for them, but still, I guess all the teenage girls that think they are hot will buy their albums, so either way.

^^ You're saying they've gone commercial?

And I disagree with the whole "teenage girls who think they are hot will buy their albums" thing. If someone's a true MCR fan, they'll stick by them to the bitter end...even if they go completely poppy on us. Which hopefully won't happen.
