Yay... ok um

Which punk band did former Smiths frontman Morrissey front for a while? and name a song he appeared on.

Morrisey sang for The Nosebleeds for awhile and then tried out for Slaughter and The Dogs.

You'll have to be more specific.
Perhaps a hint.

EDIT: While in the Nosebleeds, he wrote "I Get Nervous" and "(I think) I'm Ready For The Electric Chair."
Was that what you're looking for?

Morrissey's early career is so much more interesting than what it became.

Garrity (Ed Banger) leaves the Nosebleeds.
Morrissey sings for them.

GArrity joins and then leaves Slaughter and the Dogs.
Morrissey tries to sing for them.

Which leads to my trivia question, the answer to which is NOT on wikipedia.

Prior to singing in The Nosebleeds, what band did Morrissey front?

HINT: The band was named after a New York Dolls song, which is appropriate, since Morrissey was the president of the UK New York Dolls Fan Club in 1973.
