Electric Wizard
Excellant sludge/doom metal band. If anybody in the forum likes them then discuss. I've got a question to all those knowledgeable about this band, what tuning do they usually play in, because i've been thinking about covering some of the bands material, particularly Funeropolis.

Fucking ACE band. I have all their albums. And if you're gonna play in Funeralopolis, the tuning is B standard, although the guitars didn't realy sound tuned well on a lot of their songs. That is a fucking sweet song to cover man, even my band is doing that lol.

One of the best doom bands around at the moment. Come my Fanatics, Dopethrone and We Live are all essential IMO.
I love how they can go from tripped out to totaly crushing in the blink of an eye, the start of Funeralopolis is a great example of this. Plus, Liz is hot  .

Great band. Dopethrone is a fooking brilliant album. Saw them live with Cathedral once too, but there set was pretty short (it was like 4 songs
 ), but good nonetheless. Funeralopolis and I, Witchfinder are their best songs IMO. Damn menacing doom.

Greatest band to ever exsist. Supercoven is an amazing song. As is the entire Dopethrone album, and Return trip. I love Jus' voice and all the muffled-ness and distortion they use on them. Sounds so ****in sweet. Does any one know if they're coming to the states ever? I will drive like 8 hours for that ****.

Dude their awsome, and incredible guys (and gal) to meet.
I found particularly wierd though when my sisters boyfriend is mentioned in the We Live album thanks. I was thinking, hey I thought they were kidding kind of thing. Definatly the best doom band ever |
