How do I evennn?

I want a Shoegazey/Ambient/Atmospheric sound. Something heavy and thick but still dream like.

For example......

Can't listen to the song now, but I'd go for a heavy and thick clean tone first and then add delay, reverb and other "shoegaze" effects to your liking.

Like stated above the open and resonant chords add to the shimmering effect. From that specific video it sounds like they're using volume swells with a thick fuzz/distortion and a reverb + delay. Layered on top there's another track with the same thing but with a cleaner tone and maybe some chorus and a little less reverb. Hope this helps.

What gear are you using btw?
