Quatrillions de Tonnes is pointless. The music isn't bad really, but the random noises and shit underneath get annoying when you had your speakers up high to listen to everything on the album before it at the proper level.

I think the new album is great...although I understand a lot of people's problem with it.
It does feel samey in some parts, but none of the songs were actually bad. The title track is still one of the strongest songs they've ever released in my opinion.

Whoops, you're right. But anyway it's still the best album.

I used to dislike The Link because I thought it sounded too raw, but I got a remastered edition and it's pretty damn great. Can't get enough of that boingy breakdown part in Remembrance.

I pretty much have to agree with this, I think it's a good album but it really doesn't stand out from the rest of their albums.

There are a couple tracks that are really good, only one that confuses me is "the Wild Healer." It could work a little better if it 'flowed' into the next song but it just comes to an abrupt end and then goes to the next track. Thought that was kind of weird

I find that the more you listen to The Elephant Sausage the more stands out. I had the same problem when I first started engaging myself in the album. I love the new album, but i think classics like from mars to sirius are much heavyer.

They are, but this album wasn't about "heavy". They felt like experimenting a little, without venturing too far from their sound. Now, Gojira's never been a very technical band, but I do find this new album to be slightly more technical than "From Mars To Sirius". Imho, that's a good thing.

Could have been worse, but I feel like it was all right. It was certainly not From Mars to Sirius, but it wasn't so bad that I wanted to turn it off.

I was disappointed a lot by music and movies in 2012 so I hope from now on we get to hear and see better quality entertainment.

+1 and there are some really good songs on it, the title track, Explosia, The Gift Of Guilt, Mouth Of Kala. BUT It lacks the powerful and I guess, big sound of FMTS and doesn't capture me like their previous releases. Its still a good album in its own right but they can do better.
