Zoom G2.1u FX Patch Thread
now i know a lot of people have this pedal so don't go hiding, and i saw a Zoom 505 FX patch thread, so i thought why the hell not make a G2.1u one. now you can get some amazing sounds from this, i've got a few ill post up when i get my pedal back, got a nice early Metallica sound for y'all
 i really hope people post here, cause there's no sites dedicated to the G2.1u and i'm looking for some nice tones. cheers and i hope what evers posted is helpful, and ill have my settings up in a few days. heres a wee template to make it easier for you so you can just copy 'n' paste: ____________________________symbol___________1____ ________2__________3____ COMP WAH/EFX ZNR Drive EG Extra EQ/ CABI & MIC Mod/SFX Delay Reverb Control there you go, just put the symbols as shown on the pedal and the numbers displayed in the '1' , '2' and '3'

COMP CP 4 FS 50 WAH/EFX OFF ZNR NR 7 Drive NC 1.0 4 78 EG EQ 7 5 10 Extra EQ/ CABI & MIC Et 3 0 12 Mod/SFX OFF Delay OFF Reverb OFF Control None These are great settings for AC/DC and smoke on the water. If you think it sounds to weak turn up the Low Mid EQ and the Low EQ. Enjoy |

It can be used for leads but it's not recommended. Anyway the wah is really "expressive". If you don't want the wah turn it off and the distortion is still great for solos. WAH/EFX bS 1 10 80 ZNR Gt 1 Drive od 80 8 80 EG 11 4 6 Extra EQ/ CABI & MIC 12 5 6 Mod/SFX OFF Delay OFF (4 solos 40 74 50 Reverb Off (optional Spring Reverb) Pedal Drive This is as close to the TS--808 as i could get. Since I do not have the TS-808 I used a different overdrive pedal that emulates the 808 quite well so that's what this is modeled after. If you want more gain turn the gain up. If you still craving gain turn the booster 1st knob to 4. If you're still wanting more get a Distortion. Enjoy. Tip: The Eq might need a little bit of adjusting. what is hte best patch for ac/dc type music and also if it wouldnt be too much could u also throw one in for metal like mettalica and pantera

I Found this website that has this user patch thing but expanded the website is

Does anyone know a patch that would sound like the metal sound of Mike Einziger of Incubus uses? To give you a hint, it's kinda like the distortion sound from Privilege (make YOurself album) or Idiot Box (S.C.I.E.N.C.E. album).
I think it can be achieved with the BG Crunch (Mesa Boogie MkIII combo amp) but I don't know what's the best setting that would match that sound.
