how do you pronounce "epiphone"?

how do you pronounce "epiphone", is it ep-ih-fone or eh-piff-oh-nee? thanks a lot.

I think the real question is how you pronounce "cache" or "takamine"

i thought it was pronounced like epiphany for the longest time. i thought that was the coolest name for an instrument ever so i bought one. then i found it it was epi-phone. its ok, i still love my firebird.

While on the subject of pronounciation, how do you pronounce Gallaudet? As in the Deaf College in the U.S. Is it gull-OW-day?

I say ee-piff-uhnee.

but really, I guess its up to you. I'm pretty sure I say it right, bbut really its up to accent and just plain how you read it. diffrent strokes for different fokes, right?
