Im straight.

I'm all for gay marriage, even though I don't like the concept of marriage at all.

I guess discrimination is needed in this sick, twisted world, but I hate homophobia. In all my life, I've been faced with a lot of homophobic people, and I found that annoying, even as a straight guy.

And I do agree, that being gay should not take over your whole personality, just like being goth or Australian shouldn't be the defining factor of who you are.

1. Straight
2. Gay people can get married, why would it affect me?
3. Against gay discrimination.

The only thing that bothers me is that some homosexuals seem to care so much about being gay. You don't see straight people telling everyone that they're straight, and basing everything on their sexual orientation. Sexual orientation just doesn't seem like a really big thing to me, why do people, both gay and straight, make such a big deal out of it?

1. I'm straight.

2. I reckon that if two people feel they want to get married so they can spend their lives together, there's nothing wrong with it.

3, Homophobes should be beaten up.

Generally, it gets alot of odd conversations out of the way if someone knows already... Telling someone for the first time, or them asking you is always really wierd...

I don't act this gay at school or anywhere, so it's always awkward when someone asks.

I don't know what they'd do. I can see them kicking me out, or at least taking all of the college money they've saved for me.

Woah, That really sucks.....

My parents are hippys though, and don't care what I do, as long as I'm happy... Yeah, That really sucks...

^ I get what you're saying. But what I mean is, why does everybody have to make such a big deal out of it. If people didn't really care as much, I don't think it'd be as awkward.

BTW, I've been asked if I was gay before. =P

Meh, I don't really act all that gay around people normally, so I don't really know why they do.... Especially the people that act gayer than Richard Simmons. They're just doing it for attention, and are the people who'll be married to a woman in 20 years or so.

On racial discrimination, I would just like to point out that in today's world, if a white guy, a black guy, and a woman apply for a job, they all have the same qualification and all do equally well in the interviews(even if the white guy does better on the interview and qualifications), the white person will almost never get the job because everyone is afraid of getting screwed by a law suit.

now back to the thread topic
1)no
2)don't really care. Im just not sure about gay people raising kids. I think kids should probably be raised by straight parents but if there are no straight people applying for adoption that seem like they would would make good parents, its better for the kids to live with a caring gay couple than in an orphange or another bad home.
3) I think its wrong. I does get annoying though when gay people try to show off the fact that they're gay. I can't see why people really disagree with gay marriage. Homophobes hate gay people just because they are gay. Not because they gain financial rights with marriage. They are still gonna be gay married or not.

Meh, Whatever.

Yes, I'm gay.

I think it should be allowed, but I personally wouldn't go for marriage.

(For those of you argueing that Marriage is a Christian Union, You should stop Atheists from marrying first.)

Homophobia is really, ****ing annoying... Not when someone calls someone else a fag, because I'll do the same, but say, When I'm walking through the mall, holding hands with my boyfriend, and we're called fags by some random person sitting on a bench when we walk past. I hardly ever act gay in real life, and I pretty much just save acting gay for on here, where I can't really get discriminated against in a way that would really affect me...

Fag.

I think I'm gonna tell my parents Im gay to piss them off. And then actually become gay.

On another note.

The stereotypical gays (and I mean the "I can put a lisp in the word cracker" gay) do get very annoying.

Edit: Luckily, for the most part, they are just sterotypes.

If my best friend were gay and was to get married I would be standing up there next to him as his best man. It is a union of two people who love each other and want to make a commitment to one another why can people not accept that?

The same as I do about the discrimination of blacks, whites, Asians, indigenous(sp?) tribes and anyone else who is treated differently for something they cannot control. I find it abhorrent. Why can someone be treated differently because they were born different is beyond me. Obviously the exception is for major mental, or physical, disabilities which mean that the person requires round the clock medical treatment and more rigorous care than a "normal" person would.

I have not read any of this thread apart from the first post, yet, I just wanted to answer the questions.

I don't know how to put it.

Marriage = Christian bond
Union = bond...?

WTF Marriage is not a christian bond, it has been around WAY before Christianity, and has existed in other religions as well.

-No, I'm not gay

-I'm convinced it's not mental but rather genetic, and even if it was something mental, the fact that's it's unnatural is a stupid argument. The human mind is nature, and so is genetics, so no matter which way it is, it' still natural. Plus, what 1/10 people are gay, or so I heard. It may be another bullshit statistic, but consider the fact that a lot of gay people have similar characteristics like the tone and pitch of their voice.

-People need to keep to themselves and worry about their own problems rather than fight against a minority group fighting to keep its culture alive and thriving. There are more urgent problems than gay people. There are also a lot of other unnatural things that humans do, and each to his own, so if someone is gay and they are fine with the way they are, then it's fine.

-People take their religions into consideration too much and don't realize that not everyone follows Christianity or whatever it is they follow. Christianity is a religion, not a universal set of ethical rules for the world. Thus, as long as other religions are tolerated, so should gay marriage. It doesn't hurt anyone. It's more that people get disgusted by it.

No. You like chicks. Do you like a penis going into another guys anal cavity? If you answered yes, you are bisexual, if not then you are straight.

You were kidding though, right?
