Dual (or triple) Vocalists
I was thinkin' today, how cool could it be if you had 2 dedicated vocalists in a melodic death metal band. How fast and intricate could you get! Is there something allready like this? I'm not talking about just 2 vocalists who both do a lot.
Obsviously the vocals wouldn't just be typewriter deathmetal style, they would have to be something with a great atmosphere and whatever. I just found this a little interesting.

I think one playes guitar but I dont know the band that well so I dont know. Having two dedicated vocalists is way too much imo, three is just rediculous.

Black Dahlia Murders singer does all the growling and screams. That would be interesting though, 2 singers in a melodic death metal band. Think of the possibilities.

Yea like one does low growls and the other does kind of a higher pitched or something I dont know while you got screamin guitar/s, bad ass bass, and fast drums.

its a thing that would have to be designed from the ground up... nothing orthodox about it. Stopping the sound from turning to crap would be a bit of a challenge and hence the reason for it to not be just an adaptation of generic death metal. It would still be in the genre though.

It's DEFINITLY not Death Metal but The Blood Brothers have two dedicated singers. And I think one of the instrumentalists supplies backing vocals too.

theres a band from somewhere in australia called 'the rivalry'
i only heard one song, so all i gathered in that time was that they play a kick-arse death metal / hardcore thing. they're probably on myspace. everyone is on myspace.
