Guitar pro registration

Hey, just wondering if your version of guitar pro is not entirely legal, will registering it cause them to ban it or something?
Cheers.

EDIT: Also when entering the Key ID do you seperate its sections with, spaces, dashes, some other way? or not at all?

No- 'my friend' did it and a message came up saying that it was using a blocked registration code and after it had, it had written (piracy) and its still very useable. They can't touch you- don't worry but I would'nt recomend doing it.
