Boris
I have no idea if this band actually fits into the metal forum, but whatever.
Boris are a band from Japan that play drone, doom, and other wierd stuff. They have done collaborations with Merzbow and Sunn O))). They are like Sunn O))) sometimes, but better. And they've been around longer than Sunn O))). I'm starting to like this band. Anyone else?

Excellent band. Them >>>>>>>> SunnO)))
They do all kinds of stuff actually, Doom Metal, Drone, Stoner Rock, weird ambient acoustic...

They're okay. I prefer their more abstract stuff like Amplifier Worship over their listener-friendly records like Pink. I don't like them better than SunnO))) though. Drone should be dark, and O' Malley hits the nail on the head there.

I love me some Boris. Amplifier Worship is my favorite, the screams are rediculous. Well thats my favorite for when I'm really baked.
Naki Kyoku is one of my favorite tracks by them, so relaxed. Great backround music.
