Setlist wasn't great when I saw them, but it was pretty awesome anyway.

Feedbacker in full would be the best thing ever though

I fear I've become a purist of sorts when it comes to Boris these days. I can stand their hour-long songs and the early straight stoner-ish stuff, but beyond that I'm completely blind to the appeal of the music they've been making for about seven years now.

Sad forever.

I caught them in October for the third time. The set list wasn't my ideal by any means, but I really liked Heavy Rocks 2011 and Attention Please, and I'll always put on Smile with Pink or their older material.

I have the option to either get Heavy Rocks or New Album on vinyl. I'm leaning towards New Album, but I'm not sure. Opinions?

^ and the full version of Missing Pieces. I ordered some sweet vinyl bundle off their website. It comes with a poster, shirt, and the Heavy Rocks vinyl \m/

I bought New Album the other day, it's a grower for sure. Is anyone into the New Album/Attention Please stuff more than Heavy Rocks?

I'm still on the fence about all three of their 2011 albums actually. Sometimes I find them really enjoyable, but other times most of it doesn't sit right at all.

I got Altar for christmas though, that's incredible.

agreed. I think it's one of the best things to come out of either the Sunn or Boris camp. Atsuo has turned up on a few other Sunn releases, the particular one I'm thinking of is the Orakulum EP. His playing randomly comes up. Everything will be somewhat quiet, when all of a sudden some crazy drum slamming appears heh

Holy shit they were SO good tonight. They did Huge, Rainbow, Pink, Statement, a few new ones including one long kinda psychedelic piece (sounded fantastic), and finished with Flood part 3.

Worlds were destroyed

Good lord that is a fantastic setlist! They were immense when I saw them a couple years back, but not this immense. Gotta figure out a way to see them again.
