So please, no "go to the Nu-Metal forum!" posts. Keep this focused on the music. Let's start off with a topic on their up-and-coming album, the Blackening.  I have high hopes for the new album. It will be kickass if it matches up with their last CD, TTAOE. Being better then it would be fantastic! Plus, what do you think of the band overall? I find them to be awesome. Lots of energy with catchy riffs. I only have TTAOE and Burn My Eyes so far. With BME being their best imo. I still need TMTC, but I'm going to pass on The Burning Red and Supercharger. Not a big fan of that MH period. |

I watched a video of "The Blood, the Sweat, the Tears" off of Hellalive on Youtube. Yeah, it was pretty solid. MH's live shows seem like so much fun and have a lot of energy.

Great band, they were actually my first live show during the Elegies tour, one of the best shows I've ever seen. I own their dvd, TTAOTE, BME, and Hellalive, only CD's worth owning IMO, the rest is repetitive bullshit,lol. But still, gotta love Rob Flynn.

I've had the elegies dvd in my drawer unwatcher for over a year know.
 I was at there when they recorded it... Anyway, TTAoE was great and I think if the new album lives up to the previous one's standard I might bother getting into them again. |

i own all of their albums and i think they are good 'cept for the dodgy period i also have high hopes for the new album
i really want to see them live again they are really solid live.. last time i saw them was in 2003 damn that really impressed me |
