Please lets talk about these guys. they really need a thread because they are that amazing. Every album is amazing and they should of been the nirvana popularity of grunge but anyway superunknown and badmotofinger are astonishing albums. love jesus christ pose and my wave! Also down on the upside is ectremely underrated and burden in my hand and pretty noose are all great songs off of it.

Yup, awesome band and those two albums are awesome albums. My favorite Soundgarden songs are The Day I Tried to Live, Rusty Cage, and Let Me Drown.

Meh, my third favorite grunge band. Still good though. I might have 5 of their songs on my iPod.

good band, my 3rd fav. of the grunge bands.
Cornell has a great voice on him, one of the best around. always loved the riffs for the songs, but never really liked Kim Thyal's solo's. I guess when ever they went into studio they had a replica of Kim Thyal's couch brought into the studio for him to sit on. because he wasn't comfortable when he went into studio, he would get nervous, and he said he was always most comfortable playing on his couch at home-so that's why they brought in the couch, to make him more comfortable! kind of interesting.

^^I love Kim's solos! He's one of the most underrated soloists, in my opinion.

I'm listening to them right now, I have all the albums, too. In short, they are my favorite band of all time and I consider them to be the most innovative of the Seattle Sound. Louder than ****>? Oh yeah.

I think "Black Hole Sun" embodies the grunge sound and ideals better than "Smells Like Teen Spirit"

They were a great band. I'd say Kim Thayil is the reincarnation of Tony Iommi if Tony wasn't still alive.
