I went and got the neurosis full lengths i was missing a few weeks back, and holy shit. Souls at zero and enemy of the sun are crushing

Yeah, Enemy Of The Sun is a bit... odd, but still good, Souls At Zero has been growing a lot on me the last few weeks, a monster of an album for sure.

Eots is just heavy. The atmosphere weighs down on you. The riffs are thick and suffocating. It's just heavy.

Souls is more like pain. Pain and anguish. It hurts to listen to.

Any love for word as law?

Anyone here ever listen to Tribes of Neurot ?

It's a dark ambient/noise band by the members of Neurosis pretty much. I'll give them a listen today, there's some noise that I like.

Yeah. it's true, A Resonant Sun is also pretty damn epic.

Silver Blood Transmissions is pretty funny and pretty awesome.

Sounds like a mighty fine idea to me. Currently on my mac, so no GP, but I do have it on my desktop so not a problem.

Thinking of buying recording gear id I drop out of uni too, so maybe.

I assume you want to play phat sludgey/post-metally stuff, which is fine with me.
