I have two tattoos planned for the near future actually. One is a design I made myself that I will probably get on the top of my right forearm, It's a spade with the left side made of an upside-down Bass clef, the right side a Treble Clef, and an inscribed Bass/Treble Clef design in the center. I might try to post a picure of it later, the other is this design, a little bit altered on my shoulder (Probably), I lurve dragons and music. Long-term I also want to get the Dead Man's hand and a Dragon of some sort.
Good thing to see this thread again, I miss the old one  it had some awesome stuff.

I've got no septum piercing, but a brand spanking new beautiful industrial! They wouldn't do my septum unless I had ID, and I've wanted this for the past year and a bit. Went to town with my mate and got her her first 'proper' piercing too. She was *really* nervous, and was wearing a Cooper Temple Clause shirt. The guy behind the counter must have noticed because he put on one of their songs (one of the best songs in the world IMO, Blind Pilots) and she was fine.

I just got my first piercing yesterday, my left nipple, I have to say it didn't hurt as much as i was expecting. I'm considering getting my septum done, but everyone who I mention it to thinks I would look goofy.

They're really funny about ID, I went to get my nipple pierced when I was in Camden, the bloke asked me for ID, I pulled out 5/6 different forms of ID and he rubbished all of them and said he'd only take a drivers license or a passports.
It was sod's law that i'd actually sent of my driving license that morning!

Oh...
So how old do you actually have to be? I would assume it's 18 for tattoos, is that the same for piercings? I'm 18 but I still look about 14, I've not got asked for ID the last few times I've got my ears pierced... |

It's 14 for ears, I think, 16 for most other stuff, 18 for your special places.

Isn't it 16 for piercings, or do you need to be 18 for specific types then?
Also at some point in the future, maybe after uni I'm considering getting a tattoo of a rose in black and gray growing up the side of my right calf. Soooo, what are you guys opinions on rose tattoos? Too cliche perhaps? Edit: ignore my piercings comments, they've been answered.

16 for anything that isn't genital, but you can get it done younger if you have parental consent.
18 for anything classed as genitals, which includes nipples, even on blokes! 18 for tattoos > .
