I used to have a Squire Telecaster, which I sold in favor of an Epiphone Dot, but now I miss that twang....

I'm up now between a Koa Telecaster and a Japanese fender Jaguar....

I guess I'm a tele guy at heart!

It's the only Tele I wanted. I love the slender, comfortable body, and the separate controls for each pick-up. Plus, with a cigarette hanging out of my mouth, I'm indistinguishable from Keith Richards when I play it.

Im going to be starting another Mexican Telecaster project for the summer, so I finally will have something to throw my Joe Barden's into. I absolutely love buying on the cheap Mexi Tele's, and completely tweaking them. I've already done two, so.

Any neat idea's?

Aww man you hae a lot of Teles for a Wylde Gibson Player haha

How are the BKP Country boys?

When I get my Squier rewired I might have to join this reverse control plate cult. Seems fun.

Also does anyone know if the 3 saddle bridges will fit on a Squier? I'm guessing no since nothing usually does.

Haha, damn it. Someone caught the list.

I took the list down because for one im not totally comfortable puting all that out there on the internet, and it probably doesn't seem too truthful without pictures backing it up, so once I get some taken, I will have everything back up there.

As for the Country Boy's, they are probably some of the best pickups I have ever played. I usually look to my Joe Barden's as number one, but these BKP are quite tasty.

Your secret is safe with me! haha

Yeah I was playing a USA on monday when I got my Yardbirds and IMO My Squier + BKP Yardbirds > USA.

I guess it personal preferance anyway though. Really great pickups I can't wait to get my HBs for my Flying V.

I'm planning on making a tele my next guitar...

Any reccomondations? Also, I totally agree, telecasters have to be one of the most attractive looking guitars out there imo.

I want a 4-way switch for mine when it gets rewired hopefully.

I'm going to maybe go to the guitar shop and try get the parts for it tomorrow. I'm not even sure what I need though. I don't know if I trust myself to wire it all either but I'd like to try.

I think I just need to get the switch from a guitar shop, everything else should be able to get from like an electronics shop right?

Maybe a nice MIA tele?

I always wanted the American Vintage 52'.

Actually the classic player Fender guitars are great I'd get like a 50's tele or somethin in natural or white.

Likely to be my next guitar also it would also be my first tele if I got one.

But those are some i'd look into.

Oh, and reversing the control plate is not overly difficult. Actually, I could do it without modifying the wires at all. But I've been cleaning it up a bit and making the wiring look a little nicer.

I had the shop put in my 4-Way, I've heard they can be a bit tricky and at the time I had no clue about wiring up guitars.

I love those thinlines, and the '69 reissue. I also like the name "broadcaster" better, which is, of course, what they were called until like '55 or something.

Quite possibly the finest and most well prepared telecaster I've ever seen.

http://cgi.ebay.com/Nations-Finest-...1QQcmdZViewItem

I happened to stumble onto this while searching Ebay a while back...this guy pops up on here every now and again with a copy or two. I have yet to locate any website for his custom shop, but he seems to know how to turn out a killer.

If you know anything about Brent Mason (and if you're a tele player, then you really should), you should know what this guitar can do. Gibson mini humbucker in the neck, Hot Strat stack in the middle and a Vintage Tele Stack in the bridge. The entire guitar is shielded and the electronics are first class. Just check the notes and pics listed in the auction...I have never read an auction listing so many times.

I hope to build a custom telecaster using Warmoth parts sometime this year. Swamp ash body with strat contours, boat shaped birdseye maple neck with rosewood fretboard, jumbo fretwire, locking tuners, DiMarzio PAF Pro bridge pickup, and DiMarzio Cruisers in the neck and middle spots. Master volume, bridge tone control, middle/neck tone control and a 5 way switch. Push/Pull pots will give me coil tap options and a way to activate the bridge pickup in any position to give me the neck+bridge combo as well as all on combo. And if I can fit anything else, I'll probably throw in a piezo bridge pickup as well.
