The Ultimate 7 String/E.R.G Thread - UG's 7 String & ERG Legion so i decided we need a thread for 7's, i know hum de hum is a fellow 7 player, so show off, ask questions, post clips and pics, or w/e in here!! rg1527 prestige owner. preach the 7's!! OH and now 8 strings and above too baby...awh yeah!! ERG = Extended Range Guitar, ie a longer scale or higher string count on a guitar. SURPRISE MOTHERFUNKERS! hmmm_de_hum Registered User Join Date: Aug 2005 Location: Ipswich/Suffolk UK	They're just standard ibanez ones in that photo, same as the RG7321, but dont get me wrong they're pretty fantastic for stock pickups, i just prefer the D-sonic in the bridge really. I dont know i seemed to have grown up a lot when it comes to the bar play now, i used to be doing harmonic squeals at every available point during a live set with my 6 (drop C and OFR) but now i like to use it a lot more tastefully, like when Vai or Petrucci use the very slight wobbles during slow solo's etc.
