The Ultimate 7 String/E.R.G Thread - UG's 7 String & ERG Legion
so i decided we need a thread for 7's, i know hum de hum is a fellow 7 player, so show off, ask questions, post clips and pics, or w/e in here!!

  Ibanez S7320 owner, apparently only one of 3 in the UK? any clarification on that? i know i haven't seen another UK owner of one

They're just standard ibanez ones in that photo, same as the RG7321, but dont get me wrong they're pretty fantastic for stock pickups, i just prefer the D-sonic in the bridge really. Gotta wait for my next paycheck so i can get the Air norton 7 lol
Also i found for the drop D stuff, work around the 7th string, it will make your picking a whole lot neater and accurate.

Ah ok might have to see what that sounds like in the neck position, i think ive just fallen in love with the S7420FM all over again. I have serious GAS for one of those with the blue flamed maple.....

Dunno but i cant see myself needing those extra 2 frets when i have my good old ZR trem, especially now as Ibanez might be releasing it separately...

 for some reason a purple hellraiser seems to work...?You have the exact guitar that i strived for when looking for a 7....only problem is that they're near impossible to get within the UK, and i really wasn't up for shipping from America.....

Cool, a 7 string thread! I got my seven string in January, and it's been my main axe ever since. Anyone else think that 7 string necks just feel "right" in your hand? Like, the perfect size?

Considering Chris doesn't use the trem much apart from vibrato wobbles etc it works for him. But yeah my 7 string neck feels so normal compared to anything else, i played an ibanez 6'er with the old wizard II neck and i actually felt like i would break it......lot easier to play shred stuff but it was slightly uncomfortable.
