^ Sweet! I love Squier's JV and SQ series. Check out the MIK Squier ProTones, too.

I love this. I'm a fan of the less-traditional Strat colors. Sorry I can't help with an evaluation tho ![]()

Hey greg,
I don't know about a used price, but the sources I've read all said that it sold for 55,000 Yen brand new, or about $600 dollars.

yeah the guy wants $700.
i'm thinking closer to $500. it has a bound neck, and i haven't seen many. but just because i haven't seen one doesn't make it worth $200 extra to me. ![]() |

EDIT:
Sells used for 325 Euro, or $430 USD. It's a 50th Anniversary limited run that's made out of 5-piece basswood, shit pickups, but a pretty sexy V-shaped bound neck. I'd pay the $430 for that sexy neck and drop it on another MIJ or CIJ Body. Double EDIT: Official color name: Shell Pink.

That squier is actually a really nice guitar and is getting rare these days. You hold on to it.

As already mentioned, that's a limited run, kinda like the MIJ Epi Elite series that I posted in the LP thread. As a reference, the '62 RIs I posted above were $300-350 new in 2007 (close-out for the Nitro over Poly base) when I bought them in Japan. I wouldn't go over $400. Check out Yahoo Japan / Jauce. ![]() You should include the Squier JV and SQ Strats and Teles in your hunt. There are case queens still available like the one I posted above.
