well I added a spring, they are arranged like /|||, and I got it tuned right, but the springs are still pretty tight, is this normal? Is there another way I should arrange the springs. Also, I am still having problems with the edge pro staying in tune, I tested the whammy out, and it stilll went out of tune, although it didnt really go out of tune a whole lot, any ideas?

Arrange it in "||||" manner, lesser tension. Also, try lubricating your trem posts using chapstick/lipbalm, that helps a lot.

Ok, where should I leave a blank spot for the trem springs, like _|||| or |_|||, also, what are the trem posts?

Actually it doesnt matter which hole you put it, but i guess ill recommend you doing "|| ||", two on top and two bottom. Lubricate them like so http://i52.photobucket.com/albums/g...pg?t=1202865996 You do not need to take off ur entire trem. Just take a toothpick/small brush and apply it to the sides of your trem posts. Then 1) Turn them 360 degree either way 2) Rock your bridge a few times to ensure that the lubricant resides near the knife edges 3) Turn/adjust back the trem posts according to your action liking

You could arrange your springs in "\ | /" manner instead of ur normal "| | |" before trying to put another spring in there. Also, from the picture (dunno if its true), your fine tuners seems like its too far off, always set it in middle position before tuning.

well, I posted this in another thread and was told to post this problem in here
I have an ibanez RG550 and was restringing it when one of the blocks that hold the strings in place fell out and was lost on my bedroom floor. After searching fruitlessly for about a week I resigned myself to the fact that it must be lost. So...on searching the internet, I discovered that one can buy these components but the precise components are for floyd rose lo-pros when I have an Ibanez Edge lo-pro Will these components fit or should I try and find the ibanez components?

While they may look the same, tell you the truth i am not 100% sure about the base part of the saddle. However, you could get ahold of a brand new LoProEdge saddle from here http://www.ibanezrules.com/parts.htm#Trem%20Parts

Which one are you missing? The entire saddle or just that tiny cube inside the saddle?
What's best is you just give them a call and ask about payment n such.

Does anyone know how to go about lubricating the ball bearing on a ZR? I feel it sticking a little when I try to use it. I won't have to take the whole unit off the body will I?
