Starting a zine eh?
My friend had one for a while, I helped him out quite a lot. It's really simple actually, and you're idea to do it over email would be easier, but not everyone in your area would have access to it. Basically do what whyvern said, make readers more aware of the local scene, reviews, interviews with local bands or record store/venue owners. And whyvern could you send me a sample of your zine? |

I live on Guernsey but it's an island so that's kinda hard. But we have a great music scene at the moment like Thee Jenerators are doing really well and there are loads of young bands who are really talented so check it out y'all!!!!!
