Did i get a good deal?

I just purchased a DEAN dave mustaine VMNTX. The cheap ones that run for 300$, i know its not a great guitar but i will use it as a back up. What really got me into it was that it had the cheap dean pickups replaced with a Seymour Duncan hot rodded set (jb, jazz). Also the guy included a DEAN hardshell case (runs 100$).

So in total it was:
Dean VMNTX gutiar ($300)
Jb + Jazz ($130)
Dean Hardshell (100$)
Now lets not forget installation of the pickups + tax on the items.

I got it for 250$ SHIPPED.

Would you consider this a good deal and would you have bought it for this price?

It's a good deal, I'd buy it if I had tons of money lying around, just because I don't need anymore guitars right now.

you think the guitar with the new hot rodded duncan set would serve its purpose of a back up guitar well? (my 2 main guitars are a carvin dc400a and an LTD ec-1000)

Yes, I actually really like those Dean guitars, but having those SD Pickups is win.
