Thanks! I'll look into Dinosaur Jr and Pink Floyd, Sebodah didn't do that much to me and I've already listen to way too much grunge/post-grunge for STP to be really interesting.

Check out Bug by Dino Jr, probably the easiest to get into. Their older stuff is a bit weirder, and the stuff after Bug doesn't have Lou Barlow on it, except for their new album Beyond, which I'd recommend getting after Bug.
For Pink Floyd, everyone seems to have different favourite albums, but I know DownInAHole. agrees with me that Animals is their best effort, so since you have such similar tastes to us, maybe check it out. Dark Side of the Moon may be a better first album though. And if you don't find STP interesting, you haven't heard Tripping On A Hole In A Paper Heart.

For the Dino Jr. subject; I've yet to hear Bug, but I have You're Living All Over Me, and it's an excellent album.

Meat Puppets II was the eighties. Early eighties, at that. Put Up on the Sun or Too High to Die up in there.
Anyway, less complaining from me, and more recommending: Spacehog's Resident Alien. I guess it's like a glam rock type of thing. And what of Blind Melon, and Blues Traveler? Colonel Claypool's Bucket of Bernie's Brain could fit, too, I think.. Or maybe not, I suck at this.

What about Radiohead? I'm talking about The Bends - OK Computer-era Radiohead, not the electronic, depressing Radiohead.
