How about Flash Boxes to put videos up of either your band or just you playing guitar?

A question: How are these moderated?
Is there a way to report if someone has racist stuff up or copyrighted songs or something? Also, there seems to be a problem with the mini forums not paragraphing properly.

I don't know if the mods care or not, but if someone gets banned they can still access the profiles...
Also, we might need a couple of profile-cleaners (like column cleaners) or just a way to flag stuff that violates the rules. (eg. copyrighted mp3s, pornographic pictures)

The only thing i'm having a problem with is the bugs. I totally understand though, since this is complicated stuff and it just came out, so i bet those will all be fixed soon. Keep up the good work!

I agree with thefoldarsoldar, we need some kind of Mod staff that works on nothing but checking profiles. The stuff isn't censored, which is cool, but some idiots might get immature and post porn, harass other UGers, or hack into someone's and mess their stuff up.
Also, you think you could put an option on the profiles that says "so and so is viewing this thread", like the olden days? Other than that, the UGPs rock.

I agree on the mod thing. Maybe just a "Report comment" on each page and an automatic email sends one to the UGP mods to take a look at it. Maybe set up some UGP rules. If one of the UGP mods notice some excessive spam by a user he/she could warn the user about it.

HTML formatting in the interests section would be cool. At least allow the break tag.
Oh, and maybe the ability to list instruments other than guitar/bass related. I know, I know, this is Ultimate-GUITAR, but there are some of us who play, or at least try and play more than those. |

I don't get this whole copyrighted thing. Does that mean we can't put covers up? I mean there is a selection for covers and I've seen a few people (recently Resilience) with covers. Or do you just mean posting a song that isn't ours and claiming we wrote it?

I think that Zapp should automatically appear as a friend for each user.
Also there should be a rule against starting a new thread specifically for the purpose of promoting your group.
