That's my favorite part, as well. Incredibly epic. I have some other tabbing priorities, but I will eventually attempt it. ![]() |

^ Excellent.
I just realised how overly-long 'Bitter Harvest' is. I think it really takes the momentum out of Journey's End. And Solitary Mourner is just downright chilling.

^Ah, it's a great piece though.
But I wouldn't call it a song, and I only listen to it now and then. Their albums in general have a lot more meaning if you are Irish and know our history.

I don't know Irish history, but still get a pretty strong feeling from To the Nameless Dead. (It's the only one I have)

Bumping, because Spirit the Earth Aflame is currently both mentally and physically affecting me with it's raw, dark energy.
I feel disembodied. Maybe cause it's 4:30am and I can't sleep. Well, now the neighbours can't either.

Excellent.
Ah, Primordial. They never get old. I actually put TTND down for Best New Album on the Metal Forum awards, and yeah, that was above Watershed, if that tells you anything. This reminds me that I said earlier I was going to attempt tabbing Gallows Hymn. I may just try to do that tomorrow. We'll see how it goes. |

YES. Do it.
I'm really enjoying TTND, it's quickly becoming one of my most listened to albums. I really need to get more stuff from this great band.

Like I rec'd you earlier, The Gathering Wilderness should be the one you try next. Amazing album, The Coffin Ships has brought me tears, I'm not ashamed to admit it. Easily one of the most emotional songs I've ever heard.

Awesome. I'll definitely keep my eyes open for it, but I have a large list of albums that I need to buy. So maybe after Nordland I and Imaginations from the Other Side, I'll look for it.
I heard one song from it, and it was great of course.

Indeed, so long as you acquire it eventually. Speaking of which, I still have yet to get A Journey's End or Storm Before Calm. They're on my list, now.

Those and Primordial? Your music taste is coming along nicely. To be honest, I completely forgot to To the Nameless Dead was a new album. Even though it's technically out since last year, it feels like longer.

Coming along?
I'd have to say it's highly developed already and can only get better *puts on Korn*

To Phill:Same. It's already a classic metal album, to me.

BMTC: You forgot the backwards 'Я'!

Totally agree, it's easily one of the best albums I've ever heard. I'm thinking of making a top 100 list for absolutely no reason actually. It's definitely well in it.

I'd look forward to seeing your list, should you do it. Truth be told, I have no idea what your number one would be.

If I ever do it, I might make an epic thread on it.
My number one would be very hard to pick, but I have an idea. The other 99 would be the problem, in particular the cut-off point of the 90-100 spots.

You're well-versed enough in metal to definitely have a thread-worthy list. I don't know if I could ever make a top hundred without feeling some sort of guilt towards the latter-ranked ones. But Primordial would definitely be in there, very high.
You could probably guess my number 1 album. ![]() |

I'm not sure how well-versed in metal I am compared to others here. I know a fair bit, though.
