HLrocker Just another kid Join Date: May 2007 Location: South of Canada, but North of Mexico	I dont see how hieght could have anything to do with playing guitar, you could be on to somthing with the hand size though.

My friends neighbor's hands are smaller than they are supposed to be, he is 35 and he is about 6 feet tall, but his legs are slightly bigger than the rest, and the arms are a bit shorter, its a disease, and he's an amazing player, plays a lot of vai and satch stuff

Spawn2 Natural born Rocker Join Date: Oct 2005 Location: Heerlen, The Netherlands	Well, I dunno if being tall is a positive or negative in guitar playing. I'm 6.66 ft (203cm) and I usually play guitars with wider necks, the Zakk Wylde signature les paul has a pretty fat neck for example. Uhm, and about Buckethead: a les paul is a les paul, the only thing you can make bigger is by giving it a baritone-neck (for low tunings) but the guitar itself can't be bigger. And as far as I know, he plays '59/'69 les pauls which are just modified with kill switches and white paint and no baritones. (but hey I don't know much about the guy). The only disadvantage I can think of, is that guitars look pretty small in your hands. Whereas other guitarplayers I know think Ibanez RG's are pretty big, they look like toys in my hands... lol I do think it has some advantages in stretching, I play piano and guitar and don't have a lot of trouble of grabbing wide-stretched chords on both. __________________ 'I love to just get out and play ,you know; get out and play in front of people, I just get a real buzz out of it' , - ANGUS YOUNG - STIFF UPPER LIP

according to CelebHeights Alexi is 5'5 (165 cm) so you are about 4 cm taller than him :P

Anyways, maybe taller people are more likely to be good at guitar because of hand size? It's a fair theory.
