So, I have never liked Kiss.............. and I don't know why. I don't really know their music and I don't care for thier costumes. I am here to be converted into a Kiss fan. Give me all of your reasons and songs to convince me that they are great. I am being serious. I will be opened minded. I will listen to songs you suggest, read interesting articles you tell me about,..... impress me. I'm not here to disrespect them, just to enlighten myself.

Im sat here, thinking out loud " why do i love KISS?" and my brain just keeps returning " because thier awesome dude"

it is really hard to say why KISS should be listened to, but irecommend just whacking the name into youtube, and watching some of the concerts.

look how many people are there, having the time of thier life, listneing to great rock n roll. i suppose its the larger than life aspect of it.

kiss is great background music for almost all young peoples trials and tribulations, and i cannot make you like them, but they deserve your respect.

+1

Couldnt have said it any better myself.

This is why I appreciate KISS. They aren't intended to be anything but great, fun rock and roll.

I saw Kiss @ Mohegan Sun Arena and they were phenomenal. It was on 10/3/09 on the Alive 35 Tour. They didn't do Dr. Love. That's the only thing that pissed me off because that's my favorite song. But overall it was the best concert I've ever been to.

Rock on and may Kiss live on forever!!!!

since Peter Criss and Ace Freehley left Kiss, they've lost some of their quality

I only relatively recently stumbled upon the awesome yet simple Rock N Roll that is is KISS but I looove them!

I've got a gaping hole in my dorm room wall from rockin out to Dr. Love with my roomate!!! The fact that there's nothing to the music but fun lovin spirit is what I really like about them. Although it wasn't really what they meant, Keep It Simple Stupid definately fits what they do!

Just saw KISS live in Stockholm... man, what a show. Stood at an awesome spot too, considering I actually had seated tickets at the other end of the stadium. We managed to sneak past the guards, under the fence and up to the barrier that divided the Kiss Army-pit from the other general standing places, great success

For your viewing pleasure, some videos (not mine) that show approximately what kind of view I had

And another video in good quality, albeit a bit closer to the stage than I was

As you might see, the rain was absolutely pouring down throughout most of the set, but the heat from the crowd made the rain evaporate before even making any serious contact.

Oh yeah, Paul even smashed his guitar in the last song. I don't know if it's something he usually does, but he kind of had a "my god, did I just smash my guitar?"-look on his face.

I hadn't listened to KISS is sooooo long. I recently got a box of cassette tapes from a guy who didn't want them anymore, but wanted them to go to a nice home. One of them was Lick It Up. Needless to say, my love for KISS has been renewed.

And on the eighth day, god created Rock 'N' Roll...

I've come across a few people who don't like KISS. I can't understand why. It's musically awesome and catchy as hell...

So I saw them on their tour with Motley Crue when they came through here to our State Fair a few months ago and, I'm not gonna lie....Paul sounded rather terrible. His voice has gotten so weak compared to what he used to sound like. He definitely had trouble belting out those lyrics for the majority of the show(and from what I've seen, pretty much all of the shows on the tour). The music sounded great, don't get me wrong; but it may be time for Paul to hang up his pipes...
