but Paul's songs were disgraceful! Just a boy & Odyssey.... I'd like to see you put a positive spin on those tracks, other than he nailed his vocals

'Only you' is a class song.

I'll give you that my friend. Odyssey is just a touch above bareable though, Just A Boy is the musical equivalent to a **** sandwich.

And um can I ask that everybody try and have a touch of maturity in this thread? No "bump" posts or nothing please?

Oh grow up, if your threads worth living it'll stay alive. You aren't the only KISS fan in these parts.

Hmm. Alright here we go.

My friend introduced me to KISS. When I first talked to him about it, I was like "Na, it's alright." I bought a Queen CD a little after that, so I wanted to search for more music. So I asked my friend if I could borrow his KISS CDs and when I listened to them...it hit me like a ton of bricks.

I would say KISS, along with Queen, is probably the biggest influences on me for truly getting into the guitar and loving rock music.

I watched KISSology daily when I got it. Ace's playing was just....holy crap, and the theatrics just left me stunned.. Hopefully I'll get the other 2 sets and watch them.

I would say Destroyer is my favorite album, mainly for it's great tracks. God of Thunder sounds way better on Alive II though.

KISS will always be my favorite band until the day I die. Nothing can make me hate them for all they have shown me.

I hate that it took me so long to reply to your post. I made two lengthy attempts and lost both before they posted.LOL! I do like Domino, but prefer the Unplugged version to Alive III and both to the studio version.

Being born in '71 and having a memory back to an early age and being into music at a very young age, I feel I grew up with Kiss. My two best friends, one which lived across the street and was two years older was a HUGE fan. I thought he was the best thing since sliced bread when he was 16 and I was 14. He drove me to school in the Kissmobile every morning. That brings back a memory, a good one.

Myself and those same two friends went to the first reunion tour in Apr '97, our wives gave us a boys night out. My very best friend of the two died of a brain tumor that June. He was still in med school and we didn't get to see each other as much, he came in for that concert and that is one of my last memories with him.

In the '86, a local college radio station used to play metal all Fri and Sat night. They had a vote and Kiss won so they played all Kiss only for these two nights. That was in the background the night my first serious girlfriend let me... 'Nother good memory.

Remember those record shops called Xanadu? Maybe a local flavor. When I was a freshman and not old enough to drive, the buddy two years older found me in the cafeteria and told me he had some inside info that Kiss would be at the Xanadu a town over to sign autographs. Radio wasn't going to announce it 'til 2:30 and their concert was that night. We skipped school at about 12:00 and hung out around the magazines until they started perusing around the store around 1:30. Acted like we just happened to be there and was surprised.LOL! Got Gene, Paul, Eric and Bruce's autograph. I remember the whole ride home we talked about how Gene and Pauls' receding hairline was WAY more noticeable in person and before they were concert ready.

Their music just brings back good memories!

Never seen KISS live so it will be an amazing experience, been a fan since i was five (I'm nineteen now), my brother introduced me to KISS, the first song I've ever heard was Watchin' You from ALIVE! and it's still my favorite song.
