i agree. you really had to get lucky with the ball of light, and hope it wasnt going extemly fast while you're point blank last time i played OoT the water temple wasnt TOO bad. If you memorize what switch brings the water to what level and what not, its actually pretty easy. its still tedious, but at least you arent completely lost. |

Ok, so who got suckered into buying the Giants knife?
1st time I played through the game I had borrowed it from a friend and he told me about the biggoron sword, but 2nd time thru (bought it myself it was so awesome) I bought the giants knife to see what it was like and the effin thing broke! just reloaded my save tho. Downloaded the ROM and emulator yesterday so I don't have to dig out the N64 to play anymore (legal if I own it ) |

That part was OK. It was where he came out of the painting. I could never situate myself to see which one he was coming out of, and by the time I did, it was too late.

Maybe i'm not remembering it right, but with phantom gannon don't you just shoot him when he's coming out the pictures? I don't remember it being hard or any element of luck. |

I actually thought Phantom Gannon was pretty simple. Now, Volvagia on the other hand...

Oh dude the ****ING WATER TEMPLE. I never got passed that because it was so confusing. My sis got Oot and i played the beginning all the way to the beginning of the fire temple. She then took it to college with her
. I also hated those shadowwall things in the forest temple where if you stand for to long they come and get you. It made me jump when i was killed by one of them .

hardest boss had to have been in TP. i can't remember all of them, but i know the water one was a bitch, because you had to do pretty much the same thing you did in the OoT water temple, but you had iron boots on so if those water arms came to grab you, you couldn't get away.
oh, and the SKY temple is the HARDEST ****ING TEMPLE. i got lost so many damned times, and it takes so long to get back somewhere if you go the wrong way. and that stupid room where you had to hookshot all along the walls to get to another level or something? that ****ing killed me! and you can't go back the other way in it, so i spent like an hour trying to get back to the central room, until i realized that i'd have to find a different way back. the boss was really fun, though. |
