I just bought the Time to Pretend EP and it's impressive. I don't like the song Love Always Remains the techno synth vocal effect thingy is to wierd for me. But Indie Rokkers is such a sick song.

I must've heard Electric Feel 200 times - I'm addicted.

I've got the album and it didn't blow me away - Kids is the closest thing on there to topping Electric Feel as far as I'm concerned.

I love the music but I hate the vocals, if they were an instrumental band, they'd give ratatat a run for their money.

Kids is a great song. I like it better than Electric Feel, which is also pretty smokin'.

to both steve_muse and clancy256, be sure to listen to the original version of Kids. Its about a thousand times better than the version included on Oracular. While its kind of cool to have a full band playing the song, its just sloppy and poorly mixed. I much prefer the version from Time to Pretend (just Andrew and Ben's version). I was really glad that at their show they had their backing band leave the stage an the two of them just turned the original song on and went crazy dancing and singing karaoke.

in other news, mgmt were just featured in a converse ad... http://beesboutique.blogspot.com/20...x-converse.html

interesting....?
