Right this is what i am into at the moment!
Sum41 - all the hard hitting songs Bright Eyes - Lifted album, and wide awake. Circa Survive - on leting go, havent heard their first album. Actually i don't like alot of it just the medicine poison dose song and the all your friends are gone. So basically something that feels like the writer is in a big rut and wants to get out by becoming something amazing yet at the same time thinkin maybe he'll never get there. Something lonely, and lonely out of choice because he's ditched everyone 'cause he has no time for them but then he still feels lonely but better than before now he's away from it all...

I really need a band that just rocks. I'm looking for something in mostly major keys with fun, happy vocals and lots of power chords. I want one of those bands that you just blast in your car and it is EPIC.
any suggestions? ![]() |

Not power chords, but Algernon Cadwallader is perfect for that.

thanks guys. those were great.
and here's a thread I posted in the pit. but as I suspected, I got a bunch of songs that no one would know save a couple that were suggested. since most of what I'm looking for is in this genre, I think you guys would be able to help me a bit better. ![]() Quote:

^ but a lot of pop punk bands have good, fun songs but they just aren't as powerful as they could be. I'm yet to find the perfect "rockout" band.

Most of you are likely to have already heard of them, but if you want to submerge yourself into some deep stuff, Say Anything is the ticket. Between their unpredictable guitar/instrument changes and out-of-the-box yet grounded lyrics... it's hard not to get lost in it.
