You will make me the perfect cup of coffee.
God, I want that album. I think SYL changed tuning a bit in the early days, and settled on Open C for the s/t. Detox is in Drop D, for example. EDIT: Dyer's found a list of them by his membership of the Hevydevy forums. Maybe ask him. |

Hmm...
Pretty sure AAA off City is in drop A (6 or 7, dunno). It would be awkward to play in his bastardized Open C with G on the bottom. |

Metalcore? With his stance on mainstream acceptance? The production on the LoG album he did su-hucked, I must say.
Also, when are Gojira Drop C? To my knowledge, all their stuff is D standard. |

I'm guessing he likes mainstream metalcore enough. He produces shitloads of it.

I mentioned Gojira, sir! I'm on-topic!
Municipal Waste are in E standard, Evile are in Eb standard. Please forgive me if they're already up. |

Devin does infact use a large variety of tunings.
The list is on the Hevydevy forums somewhere, but these are what I can remember. Bastard is Open C down half a step (B F# B F# B D#) Detox on City is in Drop D AAA on City is in a special tuning (A A A E A E) with the second and third string being the same and first being an octave down. The entire Physicist album is in AAA tuning. If memory serves me right, Vampira and Vampolka are both in standard too. I'm sure theres more variations, but they're the ones I can remember. P.S. Great job by the way, thanks for the credit.

Thus the song-name, AAA... lifesaver, Dyer.
Napalm Death are in D standard, by the way. |

I find Eb standard tuning useless. I play guns n roses songs with drop D tuning and its exactly the same.
PD: No offense to all Eb standard users please dont kill my family.

Oh, I noticed that some songs from Chthonic's 9th Empyrean album are in B, but someone else might have to correct me on that. And also, "Quasi Putrefaction" by them is in C# tuning I'm pretty sure and Bloody Gaya Fulfilled is in standard E tuning.
