The Vcoustic is not a fantastic acoustic guitar.
But for playing acoustic the way you play an electric it is not bad. Neck is super thin. The fretboard could use some work, it feels way too flat.

I had a sneaky suspicion that it would blow chunks! Then again, I don't really look to Dean for my full bodied acoustics tones! ![]() I'm guessing you got it for really cheap then? ![]()

200 bucks. I'm not disappointed. My dad, who plays an old Martin D28, loves it. He wouldn't use it as his main guitar, but he wants one just for novelty effect.

Yeah, I was toying with the idea of an ML-coustic for shits and giggles. But then I was like, 'Wow, that'd be a big waste of money.' ![]()

Well, in lieu of not having another acoustic to play, I like having the V around. Gets a lot of attention too. It doesn't sound bad, just a bit too jangly. Amplified it sounds fantastic. The pickup in it is great.

Yeah, I'd assume it would be better amplified. I have another Dean coming in soon, I'm really exited. ![]()

I've got 3 Deans (just got a cheap ML XP for my G/F yesterday). Not a bad guitar for the money, but i'm going to have the frets dressed next week. Should be great after that. My Dean Icon PZ is one of the best sounding guitars I've ever heard. Absolutely no issues with that and I wouldn't sell it for 10x what I paid for it. It was my first guitar and I had almost $2000 to spend when I walked in the store with a friend who had been playing for 20 years. We stayed all day and tried everything they had. I walked out with that $300 used PZ and 2 years later still the best guitar deal I've had. I also have 1 of the 24 white V-wing Dove acoustics that were made (8 were damaged or destroyed so only 16 left). It's a really nice sounding and playing acoustic guitar. I really thought my next guitar was going to be a Gibson SG standard or 61 reissue, but after playing this ML XP for a few hours I've pretty much decided it's gotta be the 79ML. I'm not into all the sig stuff Dean offers, but you get me in a room with their good quality standard offerings and chances are I'm going to buy something. Love Deans!

I've actually been considering the 80 gold on black Cadillac.
Les Paul + Dean = Yes! I just hope the neck is a little fatter.

I think the Koreans come with Slim Taper Necks. But I've heard that a lot of the imports now come with the Dean V profile neck so I'm exited! ![]()

Dean from Hell owner here. My only complaint is the floyd. You would think it would offical but it works. Those Razorback V's (Emgs) are awesome and I want the stealth too.

Meh, if you want a Stealth, you might as well get the old Washburn Stealth. Most likely a better build and they're probably going to be loads cheaper too.

Here's my main Dean. I love the neck on this V. I also have a cheap Dean EVO XM that was one of my first guitars. I still play it every now and then.
