Accidentally bought a hello kitty bridge. Does it matter?

Just received the hardtail bridge I bought off ebay for my pine strat build. The seller hadn't listed the part number or any other information like that so I had not idea. It was just listed as a Fender import hardtail. When I opened it up, I got two nasty surprises:
1) It wasn't string through like I thought, (has small holes drilled beneath intonation screws)
2) Upon googling the part number, I realised that this is the bridge used on the hello kitty squier
3) I got grossly overcharged

Should I be worried, or should I just install it and forget about it?
Will it sound worse than any other bridge?

By the way, the tag says:
BRIDGE, BULLET CHR, HT
P.N. 0062370000

If you find a bridge out of a harder material (eg. Titanium), it will transmit sound from the strings into the bridge better. Chrome isn't bad, but if you got charged a bit I would consider sending back, and looking for better.

Also, cheap bridges are likelier to burr and to cause string breaks. Adjustment won't be as easy, etc.

The bridge was listed as "all steel"
Here is the title and description as I'm not sure if I'm allowed to post a link to the listing:
NEW Genuine Fender ALL STEEL Import Hardtail Bridge

Up for auction is an excellent quality ALL STEEL GENUINE Fender import hardtail bridge with a bright polished chrome finish. This bridge is great for an upgrade to most top loading imports as well as perfect for custom applications with the need of a 2-1/16" string spacing bridge. It comes with all 5 STEEL mounting screws and an allen wrench for saddle height.

Also, I live in Australia, so sending it back would be a real pain.

Thanks

If it really is a Hello Kitty grade bridge then don't use it on your build, especially if you intend on keeping it.

Contact the seller. From experience, they just refund your money and you keep the item.

If it was advertised as a Fender bridge, but actually came from a Squire guitar that counts as false advertising.

OK, Squires are related to Fenders, but if it was sold as a Fender at a Fender price, you definitely have an argument to get a full refund (including postage costs to cover the delivery and return).

I just sent them a message, basically telling them I was expecting a high quality fender product but received the lowest quality squier product available. Also, there were deep scratches on the front I noticed later on. I told them also that the $19.99 they charged me was $10 over squier's MSRP.

Let's see what they say

thanks for your help everyone

Top loading, NOT string through. You read wrong.

Yeeeepppp. Top loading, as in strings load through the top. Not through the bottom.

Paint yer guitar pink, add a few of those ubiquitous stickers and install the bridge. It'll look better than a Daisy Rock and you'll be the envy of all the lads... pulling the hott chix!

Seriously.. Get E-scam to issue a refund and tell the fraudulent seller yer gonna chuck the thing in the river, 'cause it's not worth return shippage! Drop some nasty feedback and call it good.
