airship Registered User Join Date: Mar 2008	5th Fret Does anyone here know that playing the 5th fret on each string apart from g string(when its the fourth fret) is exactly the same as playing the next string up? Only becasue lots of tabs are written like this: E---------- B---------- G---------- D-----7--- A-------5-- E and it should be written like E--------- B---------- G-----2--- D-------0-- A---------- E

I find doing a harmonic on the 5th fret and a harmonic on the 7th fret on the next string is easier. You can hear the sound vibrations much easier.

No it shouldnt.
It doesnt matter, as long as it sounds the same
